Blog 4: Review of "Children of God"

Hello everyone!

In this blog I gonna write about the film "Children of God", this a Bahamian film premiered in 2009.
The movie is about the love of the two young boys in Bahamas, an paradise group of the islands in the Caribean sea.

The characters live in a complicated context, when a treatment towards the homosexual people exists. Johnny is a art student and Romeo is a "perfect Bahamian boy" old classmates, they fall in love and begin the problems with the family, the conservator Bahamian society, the religion and the homophobic people.

One of the characters that liked me in the film is Johnny, because is a sweet person, that believe in love, is a little untrusting (like me hahah) and a artist who followed his dream.
I like so much the parts of the film in the beach, Bahamas is so beautiful and I never see a film about this country, a really paradise. The part when Johnny and Romeo meet for the first time I also like me, all is so casual and cute.

Maybe, one of things that I don't like me is the dramatic final of the movie. How many people die for think different and be different? a lot, is horrible:(

    haha chose the same picture! I agree that the landscape is spectacular, accompanies the romance very well ;) I personal believe the final it's an invitation to take the opportunities of life and overcome prejudices!

The country I would like to visit is Mexico. I like Mexico because is a country with many weathers and landscapes like, desert, jungle and bigs valleys. Other of the reasons is the language, it would be easy comunicate with the people although, many words in Spanish are different in others Latin American countries. If I go to Mexico I would to visit the ancient ruins of the precolumbian civilizations in Tulum or Chichen Itzá. I like very much this places, and other place I would like to visit is the beachs in the Caribean sea, are so beautiful! white sand, calm waters and delicious fruits. If I go to Mexico I would study the ancient cultures and take photos in this places, from what I read in many places of Mexico, especially in the inner valleys living human groups where maintain yours traditions and special religion for the union the spanish culture and native culture. I hope to visit this culture some day! :3

Blog 7: Pets

Hello everyone! Today I gonna write about my pets, (is amazing write about this, cause' yesterday my cat was sterilized!!) well, this is the story of my yesterday day and "Nala" the bessssst and more soft cat in the world. I don't know when "Nala" was born, in December I think (?) in my house she arrived to my house in January this year, always in my life I wanted to adopt a cat but, my parents don't like cats, I think that for the hair... with the days all in my family loves the new member.
